The tfz was founded in 2003 with great commitment from public and private stakeholders with the aim of promoting innovation and technology development in the Zug economic region. The commitment and cooperation of internal and external stakeholders has remained a distinctive feature of Technologie Forum Zug to this day. The tfz is politically neutral and also acts as a third-party partner of the Canton of Zug's Department of Economic Affairs.
