We are living in an era of rapid change. New technological possibilities are emerging every day, and economic conditions are constantly shifting. Whilst this opens up opportunities, it also increases complexity. Keeping track of everything and making well-informed decisions is becoming increasingly challenging.
In my discussions with executives and entrepreneurs, I find time and again that the challenge today rarely lies in a lack of information. Rather, it is a matter of contextualising information correctly, setting priorities and drawing the right conclusions for one’s own business. In this context, I often observe that technological options are compared with one another. However, given the multitude of new developments, this is a virtually never-ending endeavour. What is crucial, therefore, is not the technology itself, but the question of what benefits it creates for customers. Whether a tried-and-tested solution, the best technology currently available or a future innovation is used is ultimately of secondary importance – provided it delivers the desired customer benefits.
It is not about choosing the perfect technology, but about creating sustainable added value for customers.
Technologies have always evolved and will continue to do so in the future. However, the responsibility to make the right decisions for customers, businesses and their long-term viability remains. Even in the age of artificial intelligence, automation and data-driven business models, successful business leadership means recognising opportunities, weighing up risks and consistently creating value for customers. This is precisely why reliable information, new perspectives and open dialogue are more important than ever. The tfz has provided an established platform for this for many years. The exchange between business, technology and research provides guidance and opens up new ways of thinking.
We are delighted to invite you to the Zug Innovation Day 2026 on the theme ‘Predictive World – The Impact: Knowing what tomorrow holds’. In a time of increasing uncertainty, the ability to recognise developments at an early stage and act with foresight is becoming increasingly important. How can we set the right course today to gain greater certainty, direction and scope for action tomorrow? The Zug Innovation Day 2026 will address this question from various perspectives within business, technology and research.
Take this opportunity to find out about the latest developments, make valuable contacts, share experiences and gain fresh inspiration for the future.
