The Open Farming Hackdays are taking place for the sixth time. Are you interested in agriculture and food and want to work on real-life challenges? Then Farming Hackdays is the place for you! Farmers, programmers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs, students, food technologists, mechanical engineers and lateral thinkers will meet at the Liebegg Agricultural Centre to work in interdisciplinary teams over two days to develop concepts or concrete prototypes based on real-world problems. Whether it's a smart app for irrigation, a digital tool for correct food labelling or a digital robot-based solution for mouse control – your ideas are in demand. The hackathon is open to everyone, and you don't need to have your own challenge. Participation is free of charge – including meals and accommodation.
Do you have a pressing problem and want to submit a challenge yourself? Then submit it now on the website. Or register for our warm-up challenge workshop: Link to submission.
