Anyone who supplies electricity needs one thing above all: a reliable grid. But today, security of supply means more than just stable lines. It is achieved through intelligent grid control, flexible coordination of consumption and supply
and the targeted integration of renewable energies. The energy system is changing - increasingly digitally controlled and with growing complexity.
This development does not just affect the energy sector. The digital transformation is shaping companies in all sectors - through new business models, the use of smart technologies and the challenge of combining
sustainability with the ability to innovate. At WWZ, as well as in discussions with members of the Technologie Forum Zug, it is clear that progress cannot be achieved alone. It is created in a network - through cooperation with universities, start-ups and technology partners, through interdisciplinary exchange and by moving forward together.
The Zug Innovation Day 2025 addresses precisely this topic. Under the motto “The Future of Eco-Systems - The Impact!”, the event will focus on the future of eco-systems: How do networks really work? What makes them effective - in research, business and society? And what role do digital and analog platforms play in innovation and sustainable growth?
Eco-systems have long been regarded as key success factors in a networked world. Whether as knowledge, platform or business ecosystems - the decisive factor is how these structures are designed, which rules of the game shape them and which dynamics are brought to life by technologies and new networks based on genuine interest, trust and the will to collaborate. It is not clicks, but contributions that initiate change. The Technology Forum Zug sees itself as a platform to make these contributions visible - as a bridge between ideas and implementation, between research and practice.
